‘Martha Jones’, they say, ‘she’s gonna save the world.’

 #I don’t understand people who don’t like her. Sure you don’t have to love her like I do#but if there’s one thing that you have to give Martha Jones #Its respect #Look at all the things she accomplished even though most of the time she was undervalued underappreciated and just completely unnoticed #She never complained about why the Doctor didnt love her or why he treated her like shit #She just took it all in stride and watched his back and took care of him completely and utterly #and when it came time #She left #She got out #NOT BECAUSE SHE WAS ABANDONING THE DOCTOR #But because she needed to go #She needed to live her life she needed to move on from the Doctor and her unrequited feelings #AND she needed to help her family after the year of hell she went through #People who say Martha Jones is selfish - I don’t even understand that #If you had to choose between all of time and space with the man you are in love with #or staying home and fixing a family broken by a year that never even happened #Wouldn’t you prefer to run away? And keep running with the Doctor - away from all that responsibility? #But no #Martha stayed and helped her family and helped save the world over and over again #She wasn’t selfish. She was strong. She was incredibly brave. #MARTHA JONES YOU ARE A FUCKING STAR
